Why Can I Log Into A Website’s Message Board On My Computer At Work, But Not From My Home Computer?

Both computers are running Windows XP as an OS. My home computer had Computer Associates firewall and anti-virus. My work computer has Symantec Endpoint Protection and a hardware firewall.
